We are currently seeking a dependable and service-focused Full-Time Teller / Member Service Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and helping members achieve their financial goals.
Position Overview
In this role, you will assist new and existing members with their financial needs. This includes opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, resolving account issues, and providing information on Credit Union products and services. You’ll also play an important role in connecting members with solutions that can improve their financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, and resolving questions or concerns.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services that benefit members.
- Provide information and guidance about Credit Union services in person and by phone.
- Maintain accurate member account information and prepare reports as needed.
- Act as a liaison between members and other departments to ensure excellent service.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Cash handling experience.
- 1–3 years of customer service or similar experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn financial systems.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and member service.
- A team player with a positive, member-first attitude
